The Joy of Painting
Art is a way of life…not just a lifestyle
What comes to mind when you think about painting? Is it fun? Is it fulfilling and
invigorating? Do you wake up every morning with a new idea of how to make the world
around you happier and better and more enriched for those around you? That’s what
Joy is thinking when her eyes open each morning and she wakes her children.
Breakfast is prepared and everyone readies themselves for the challenges of the day.
Then its off to work, if you want to call it that. Joy gathers her brushes and paints and
journeys to a local business and begins creating her wonderful window dressings.
Kennetha Armstrong, or “Joy” as she is called by her friends doesn’t just paint windows,
she creates art.
Face Painting
The art of Face Painting has come a long way since it’s introduction into the many
public activity events going on around the country. Whether its a team logo or a
colorful butterfly on a child’s cheek or shoulder the art is the subject and the creativity
stands as a testimony to the artist. Joy Paints has expanded it’s reach into this new
arena providing this fun and fanciful element to an eagerly awaiting audience .
“Face Art” has taken it’s place at almost every public gathering where familes meet to
enjoy a town carnival or Arts and Crafts Fair. Along with the introduction of new food
choices Face Painting offers a huge selection of ‘characters’ for young and old alike.
